When Megasealed came to Ardent they had already established a significant investment into digital marketing with previous agencies. Unfortunately, they had lost faith in agencies to deliver due to recent experiences. It was therefore important to build this trust and faith back with the client to start with.
Beyond building and gaining trust, the challenge was clear. How to a stop leaking (no pun intended) a digital budget that was delivering a high cost per lead. Not just in paid search, but across organic, social and all channels with what an underperforming marketing investment for the category leader was.
A Search strategy across Organic and Paid underpinned by audience analysis and onsite behaviour. The organic strategy mapped the key conversions paths of the site, increasing the site UX and conversion rate by eliminating redundant steps in the funnel. A content strategy tailored around specific audience clusters with extensive and ethical link building to drive traffic and rank. Paid search audit identified gaps in keywords and tracking that implemented saw significant results.
Further a brand awareness campaign was created with identification of a lack of unaided brand awareness . Through using Roy Morgan Research we uncovered that TV was the strongest channel for their target audience. Next steps – the creative! Working with our in house creative team we brought back the ‘home service’ jingle made famous from brands like Windscreens O’brien and Lube Mobile – just with a modern twist.
