‘Mini Litter Less’ Campaign Success

Keep Australia Beautiful is a national organisation recognised as Australia’s independent litter prevention thought and practice leader.

Ardent worked alongside the KAB team to provide strategic solutions to their unique challenges. These included low campaign visibility and sign-ups only two weeks out from launch.

To tackle this challenge Ardent developed a two-pronged approach that involved engagement of a multi-faceted paid media and digital public relations campaign strategy.

The aim was to drive awareness and leads across the core target audience of students, teachers, and non-traditional education providers.

Step one involved the re-development of additional communications materials to ensure the campaign key messaging would provide the cut through it needed. This included the creation of a step-by-step participatory guide and comprehensive educational resource for teachers.

Ardent delivered a targeted lead generation campaign to efficiently increase competition registration. Our strategy sought to build the registration process into a simple format and provide integrated dynamic email automation to drive high conversion rates during the campaign period.

This innovative paid media strategy was enhanced by a successful digital PR campaign, reaching a receptive audience of close to half a million people across radio and social media platforms.

The ‘Mini Litter Less’ campaign received headline news coverage across Sydney’s Nova 96.9 radio show on the launch day. In addition, a live interview on the ABC Northern Tasmania breakfast radio program was secured and complimented by social media coverage.

Drawing on Ardent’s strengths as a full-service digital agency the short campaign achieved significant success, exceeding client expectations.
